“Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates.”
This concept is at the forefront of what the author Masaru Emoto has been documenting when he charges water with different vibrations or positive words and then photographs the beauty of the crystal that is formed from that water. Masaru has documented this in several of his books such as The Miracle of Water.
The concept of charging water with sound is not new, in fact there are several mp3’s available online made specifically for charging water at frequencies such as the 528 hz frequency. The 528 frequency is said to be the frequency of love and well-being. If you believe in Masaru Emoto’s work then theoretically you could charge water with any positive and uplifting sounds or spoken words. This is of course disputed by many people who claim that speaking or vibrating to water does absolutely nothing and is simply new age pseudo-science.
It is obvious to me however that vibration is important. If positive vibrations can have positive effects on myself when listening to them or affect water crystals as in Masaru Emoto’s work, then it seems a worthwhile idea to experiment with charging my water, specifically charging the water that is fed hydroponically to my plants. With this information in mind I set out to design a low cost way of vibrating the reservoir water. I was able to assemble a kit for $32.50 from Amazon items but if you already have some of these items it could be much less.
The items I used to input repeating sonic charging into the reservoir:
- 528 hz water activation mp3
- Solfeggio 528 hz mp3
- Very low cost repeating mp3 player
- Micro SD card for mp3 player
- USB SD card reader
- Water-proof headphones
After loading the mp3 player with the “good vibrations” the water-proof headphone was placed in the bottom on the reservoir for the water to receive the vibrations. The mp3 player was left plugged into a usb outlet charger and should run constantly.
This project is a bit “out there” for some people. Most people probably won’t want to bother with something like this and it is certainly more important to focus on other factors such as proper PH, oxygenation, adaquate light, and proper nutrient solution concentration. If you have done all of this though and you want to give vibration water charging hydroponics a try then why not give it a try?
